Objectives
  • To develop and pilot advanced post graduate specialized training modules (MOOCs) based on EU experience and Jordanian aviation industry needs
  • Promote industry active participation in design of CVET modules
  • To create upskilling paths in CVET and promote accreditation of microcredits
  • To promote woman employability in aviation safety sector
  • To establish knowledge transfer and collaboration between European and Jordanian educational institutes

Description
  • EU Best Practices: Desk research on EU best practices in the field of post graduate CVET programmes on Aviation Safety
  • Focus groups with industry: Proactive involvement of the industry in the design of the CVET courses will be sought throughout the project. A focus group with industrial partners will introduce then in the curriculum design process. EU best practices and Jordanian experience will be discussed during the focus group. Three subject for the development on MOOCs will be decided during this process. Minimum participants 10
  • MOOC Development: Subject I: One 120h effort (4 C.H) blended post-graduate CVET short course will be developed. It will consist of 20-30 h of synchronous sessions and 70-80 h of asynchronous and personal study. Laboratorial training -if necessary- will be no more than 4h. Jordanian partners are responsible for MOOC development but effort is divided between all partners. During M15 3 European experts (UAEGEAN, ESTU & KSU) will make a field visit to enhance collaboration and output quality.
